The Cabin by the Sea

The Cabin by the Sea is a rustic, rural retreat designed for two people, set in around half an acre of mature grounds and with a large area of decking.

Approximately twenty metres from the beach, it is a fully self-contained cabin with en-suite bathroom and kitchen facilities, TV, Wi-Fi and private, tarmacked parking, offering unrivalled sea and mountain views across Loch Ainort to the Red Cuillin.

The Cabin by the Sea is perfect for kayakers, climbers, fishermen, photographers, bird and wildlife watchers or those who simply want to relax and get away from it all.

Otters, Dolphins, Seals, Sea Eagles, Golden Eagles, Buzzards, Herons, Ducks and Divers are a common sight from your armchair or decking and there are also resident populations of Red Deer, Stoats, Weasles and Pine Martens.

Shops, supermarket, petrol station, post office, pharmacy, hospital, medical centre, bars and restaurants are all in Broadford, only 7 miles to the south. We are also situated on the main bus route.

The cabin sleeps 2 with a double bed and there is a en-suite bathroom with shower.

There is a well equipped kitchen area with 4-ring ceramic induction hob, microwave combi-oven, fridge, sink, pans, crockery, cutlery, glassware and storage.

To keep you warm there is underfloor heating throughout and a flame effect electric fire.

Outside the cabin you have a large area of private decking, and private beach access.

Follow the A87 North from the Skye Bridge to the village of Luib, which is on the A87 seven miles north of Broadford.

The Cabin by the Sea is situated in the grounds of Heron Cottage which is the second house on the right as you enter Luib from Broadford.
