This charming 1880's-built crofthouse is a perfect spot for honeymooners or self-catering holidaymakers to escape to. Watch the tides from the picture window, visit the Otter Hide or see seals and sea eagle from the shore. At night you may glimpse Red Deer or Pine Marten.

There is a sturdy wooden bridge to the cottage with breathtaking views all about and the sea 95 meters away. Arrive 'Over the sea to Skye' via the five-car ferry from Glenelg (summer only). A scenic 10 mile drive takes you to a range of shops and restaurants in Broadford.

Accommodation comprises of a cosy double bedroom with closet, chests of drawers and a shower + toilet in the next room.

Fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave.

Electric central heating and an electric fire.

Taking bookings for week stays (Saturday to Saturday).

From Skye Bridge: At the roundabout turn right to follow the A87 towards Portree. After 3.2 miles turn left at the sign to Kyerhea - You will see the aerodrome on the right, identifiable by a windsock.

Follow that road for 6.8miles down into Kylerhea Glen. At an S-bend you will pass a new house on the right in trees, then the old school, again on your right and 170 yards further on you will come to a small red letter box on the right.

Turn right by the letter box down the Croft Road. If you reached the large Old Inn on the left or even the ferry pier, then you have overshot this road.

Down the Croft road, the Old Crofthouse is the nearest house to you. Therefore, go down the Croft Road 0.2 miles, turn left over the railway sleeper bridge over the burn and left again. It is second back from the seashore (nearest you).
